A cold front moving through early this morning is kind of teasing us…the cool down behind it will time out with the morning sunrise and day’s warm-up, so this will be a day where temperatures really do not rise a whole lot after they didn’t fall off much overnight. Any light showers along this front will quickly move to our east this morning and sunshine should become abundant by late morning. It’s safe to expect another round of frost overnight and cool temperatures will stick around all the way through this first weekend of November. Skies look dry and pretty quiet until early next week. The next cold front we’ll be watching is right now scheduled to move into the area late Monday…and after some rain late Monday and into Tuesday this system could really pack a chilly punch – meaning highs only in the 40s! Stay tuned…
It was the happiest of Halloweens at our house last night. We had several trick or treaters, but not enough to empty the candy bowl. I got dibs on the leftovers!!! At first I planned on handing out the candy while my wife, Sophia, and a couple other mom and baby combos hit the streets. When I saw her getting Sophia getting into her costume I knew I had to go with, so we just set the candy bowl on the front step and hoped for the best. Imagine my surprise when it WASN’T emptied out when we got back. Some honest kids in Madeira I guessJ
How did we get to November so quick? This year is flying by and now it’s already time to think about holiday shopping…aaahhhhhh!!!! It’s really going to start to cool off too, I suppose an appropriate thing for this time of year. We’ll be on close watch for some snow to fly, it can’t be too long now.
