Get ready to be disappointed snow lovers, this latest storm system is just like all the rest so far this winter…a lot of hassle for just a little junky snow. To say I had hopes for this one is a bit of an understatement…signs of a brewing big snow storm system made for blog conversation already last week. But – just like they all always seem to do around here – this one will give us the full buffet of winter precipitation types and no doubt slow things down, but why can’t it snow a lot…why???
Expect the precipitation evolution to go something like this: snow to snow and sleet to sleet and freezing rain to just a good old fashioned 35-degree rain…and then back over to snow. So we get our snow at the onset, and then again at the end – and I bet for most of the Cincinnati metro area it will be less than two inches. Boo!
