Now this is more like it! The sun is out in full force, and temperatures are responding nicely this afternoon with highs expected to be in the mid 80s. All this while the humidity stays fairly low – it’s just a perfect afternoon. As we head into Tuesday afternoon there may be a few scattered storms popping up, but rain chances are pretty low. The small chance for scattered storms needs to stay in the forecast through Wednesday, but by Thursday we think the area will stay rain free as some hot and humid air tries to move in. While we may not quite hit the 90-degree mark on Thursday, we probably will on Friday as the humidity really takes off on us. Into the upcoming weekend a cold front is forecast to move through, as of right now the timing is uncertain so we need to broadbrush the rain chances into both days and wait for a more consistent solution out of our long-range forecast information. One overall trend to the forecast is that everything seems to be progressively warming, so the summer heat may finally be here to stay. Stay tuned!
