The weather really came around for our Sunday, enjoy what is left of this beautiful day…but not in a way like it’s going to run out. Monday and Tuesday will be just as nice with plenty of sunshine expected, and the afternoons will have that warm but not oppressively hot and humid feel to them. The next couple nights will be nice too with generally clear skies and temperatures already down into the 60s by about midnight and into the daybreak hours…meaning you may even be able to turn the air conditioning off late – and that’s almost unheard of for the Tri-State in July!!! By Wednesday it’s really going to heat up and get steamy as the next weather system approaches, we do expect at least some stormy weather on Wednesday, however to what extent is still somewhat unknown because we may find ourselves in a capped situation where there is even hotter air a mile up overhead compared to the warm and steamy air we will be suffering through here at the ground, and that can prevent storms from really taking off. Some storms could still fire on Thursday with the hot and humid sticking around for one more day before it all gets shoved south and jet stream winds take a sharp turn out of the northwest, and that means cool Canadian air will move in and probably stick around through next weekend. A couple showers could pop up during the heating of the afternoon on Friday…otherwise it’s smooth sailing with very comfortable air locked in overhead until early next week. Stay tuned!
