Don’t Waste This Day!!!

This is as good as it is going to get for a little while – so don’t waste the sunshine and warm temperatures this afternoon. A cold front and associated chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives tomorrow, as of right now there is not much of a severe weather threat with Friday’s front…and thunder and lightning may even be a little scarce with this one. In the wake of this cold front we expect a real fall-like feel for the weekend with afternoon high temperatures only in the low to mid 70s! A couple rain showers cannot be ruled out during the afternoon heating hours, but any light rain should remain on the spotty side and will not ruin any scheduled outdoor plans you may have. Skies will stay cool and quiet into Tuesday, and then we should get started on another warming trend for the middle of next week. As winds turn back out of the south and draw up a little more humidity, the chance for scattered showers and storms returns for Wednesday and Thursday, but there does not appear to be anything terribly strong or concerning coming our way through the end of the next work week. Stay tuned!
